This one was pretty random but a sometimes all you have is a bunch of condiments, one fresh herb and a handful of greens in your fridge. You can apparently put together a pretty tasty salad! Here’s what it took:
The last time I tried to make homemade falafel it was not pretty—maybe a rookie mistake but I put those bad boys into a deep fryer and next thing I knew they had disintegrated and I was cleaning up hot cumin scented-oil from every surface of my kitchen.
In times like these, it makes me sad to think about all the time I had invested preparing ingredients, all for it to be ruined in a matter of seconds.
They say that the way to a person’s heart is through that person’s stomach (actually that’s not quite how “they” say it, but I’m not going to gender it). That’s probably why everyone wants to get their loved ones sweet things for Valentine’s Day. Well, I’m not going to do it. Been there, done that, and you don’t need another blog post on candy this time of year.
I’m talking about ranch!
I’m back! I haven’t blogged in a while and now that the whole article I just wrote up got deleted I remember why. I suck at technology.
Anyway, it is that time of the year again…rawstravaganza. That is what I call my annual week-long stint of a basically raw diet. I say basically and use “raw” loosely because I am not super picky about it my food stays under certain temperatures or the nuts I buy have been pasteurized or stuff like that. I’m doin it my way, the rawstravaganza way.
